Dr Counsell was, in my experience at least, very rude and unprofessional. After telling her an opinion I received from another doctor, she very clearly told me what I’d said was the stupidest thing she’d ever heard. Throughout the entire visit, she spoke to me in a demeaning and condescending manner, which I did not appreciate at a time when I was very seriously needing sound medical advice. Also upon discharge, she gave me false information regarding my instructions from a surgeon regarding follow up, and when I corrected her, she became very irate. I feel Mrs Counsell has perhaps been in practice a little too long but her medical experience is outdated and no one deserves to be treated this way by any medical professional. Again, this is just my personal experience, but it seemed to me to be her character altogether.
