My granddaughter was born on January 22, 2026, and we chose Dr. Lorelei Gonzalez at Christus Health Alamo Ranch Parkway, San Antonio) for her pediatric care. The very first appointment had to be rescheduled because the roads were dangerously iced over. The second scheduled visit had the exact same problem — more ice and unsafe driving conditions. We understood and worked with the office to reschedule for February. Then, the day of the February appointment, we simply called to ask if we could push it back a few hours because of a family transportation issue. The receptionist was extremely rude and told us that Dr. Gonzalez had made a “personal decision” to no longer see our granddaughter at all. No explanation, no referral, no offer to help find another doctor — just “she’s not seeing her anymore.” This is a brand-new baby who needed her well-checks and shots on time.
