Unless you have $100s of dollars to spend, DO NOT GO HERE. I had an appointment today to have a growth removed from my tongue. They have both my medical and dental insurance and are in network with both. They tell me what they are going to do, then a woman comes and tells me that the procedure will cost $611. And since they don't know what the insurance will pay, they will just charge me $450 today and then once the claim is processed will get back to me on the balance. This is a medical procedure. I have met my deductible and am covered at 100%. I told them to call the insurance for coverage and they said 'Well we won't know till they process the claim.' Here is what you will know if you call. You will know that my deductible is met and that I am covered at 100%. I said if you are in network you are not allowed to charge me prior to insurance being billed. She said this is how we do things here. Since I told her I can't pay anything, I was told they won't perform the service. I had to leave. What kind of doctor is this??? I could understand if they were out of network. Then yes, I am liable for the services up front. But they are in network!! Stay away!!
