On a trusted recommendation, I decided to put Dr. Sohail in charge of my GI care. He took the time to understand my somewhat complicated situation, took over from my previous doctor’s vacillating attitude, and addressed my needs with understanding and action. To my knowledge, in my area of Maryland outside of Baltimore, he alone is qualified to perform a balloon eneroscopy to study and treat small bowel problems. Additionally, and importantly, he understands medicine outside his specialty, which can be enormously helpful in cases that have overlapping symptoms. His compassion and empathy are manifest on the very first visit. Some call this the Art of Medicine.
