Went to get a vaccination for graduate training. I was missing a dose of a vaccine from childhood and she said there was no way I would have been able to go to school back then if I didn't get the vaccinated for that dose. Even though I told her I went to school in the U.S. and despite reading my records that showed I had gotten all my other required childhood vaccines in the U.S., she asked me if my parents were anti-vax and if I was from the U.S. I was disappointed to hear this, as I am Asian American and I was expecting more culturally competent care from Dr. Ebersole Robinson, who I believe also has Asian heritage.Later on in the encounter, unrelated to me, she talked about people that I cannot recall, but use the 'r' word.Other than that, Dr. Ebersole did her job, but I wish she has displayed more appropriate bedside manner.
