I have never been more disappointed in healthcare system in my life than I was after visiting Dr. Malik today. I almost watched my child die at home four weeks ago from a complication from a febrile seizure. Had to do cpr on my pulse-less child. . I waited 4 weeks for this appointment and an hour in the office for the doctor for her to walk in and say “he’s not going to die, you don’t need to be stressed out, no one dies why would u be scared?” That was the direct quote. She then left the room and came back and said “OK some kids do die I guess but it’s one in 1 million”… did she google it? didn’t even touch my child or listen to our story. She dismissed us and acted annoyed when I said I just wanted to have someone hear what I was saying. She told me to go see someone else. She obviously does not have a passion for her job. Don’t go into medicine (especially pediatrics) if this is how little you care. I sobbed after this appointment… This was the most insane appointment in experience I’ve ever had in my life and seriously made my husband and I consider leaving the city of Atlanta

Wonderful, caring provider. It took a while to get an initial appointment, like with all pediatric specialists. We never feel rushed.
