I highly recommend Dr. Davila, but not his front office. This review is not against Dr. Davila, but rather against his receptionist. I had been treated by Dr. Davila several years ago and wanted to return to him now because of a new issue. I explained my long suffering with jaw pain and being shuffled between dentists for many months, and finally my PCP issuing a referral to their office. The receptionist immediately diagnosed me with TMD and said their office does not diagnose or treat TMD. I tried to explain that all symptoms did not point to TMD, but she would not listen. I tried to explain that I wanted to rule out other possible problems besides TMD, but no luck. I would really prefer that a trained dentist diagnose a problem or rule out a problem besides one who answers the phone. Again, I have the utmost faith and confidence in Dr. Davila and would have trusted his guidance, but the telephone diagnosis took care of that.
