I had a terrible experience with this practice and its staff. After my doctor of 30 years retired, I scheduled an appointment with Dr. Marcu as a new patient. On my first visit, her spirometry machine was broken, meaning she couldn’t even properly assess me. When I asked when it would be fixed, she simply said, 'I don’t know, it’s very expensive.' She prescribed me a new steroid inhaler, which worked well, but when it came time for a renewal after six months, my pharmacy sent multiple requests with no response. When I called the office, they told me I needed to come in for a check-up—clearly just to collect a co-pay. Fine, I scheduled an appointment for three days later and asked if they could at least call in one inhaler since I was completely out. They said yes but never did. When I called back, they told me they couldn’t because I needed to be seen first—leaving me without my daily steroid inhaler for three days. This lack of disregard for patient well-being is unacceptable.
