My daughter was assigned this physician.... I guess. We were told that by a nurse practitioner. She shared that they would be back to see her this afternoon and if things still looked good, I could take her home. We are 40 miles from home with a winter storm bearing down.Waited all afternoon. Attending nurse finally paged both at 4:30pm. No response, so hospitalist keeps her another night for meds and observation. Not sure what is to be learned when no one visits or observes.
