Dr. Benkel, in my first time mom experience, is a good pediatrician. He’s not an alarmist, which I like, and he’s very calm around a crying baby. I’ve dealt with 3 receptionists there, two of them are wonderful and sweet and one of them is an absolute witch. Extremely rude, snotty and abrupt even to the other receptionist. Making comments about parents ages, asking if what my son had was contagious on my way out- not pleasant in the least. Thankfully I’ve only had to deal with her twice, but I’m afraid if I have another encounter, I might leave the practice.
