Patient Reviews
Feb 24, 2025
On April 19, 2024, I was admitted to the hospital. I was told by Dr. Shapiro that I needed a life-saving surgery. We asked if we should go to a better hospital in which we were told no that he was very confident in his ability to do this procedure. When I woke up in agonizing debilitating pain realizing there was no pain medication on board. I was told that he was not able to complete the surgery because he did not have the tools necessary. So he half stapled me with my flesh and wound wide open. I can’t help but wonder why he even started. Anyway, I spent five days with my stomach and my bowels leaking into my body. Before I was allowed to be transferred to a better hospital. which led to sepsis and massive infection (NOTE, I still needed that life-saving surgery). I spent the next 28 days days in the hospital try to survive the trauma I also got to enjoy 3 more stays All about 5 to 6 days apiece. And we still have future procedures in order to fix the damage. No one deserves this
