I am trying to get cardiac clearance for surgery, which was requested in May.. Surgeon did not follow up until July (3 weeks before surgery), at which point Ahmed required 3 tests. His staff GAVE ME the contact info, and when I called the testing facilities, they had received no testing requests. Went back to Ahmed's office again, they said they had faxed request. Called testing facility, they said they had received no request, but processing a faxed order takes 48 business hours (8 DAYS), but if the order was called in, it would get in the works immediately. I spent two days trying to get Ahmed's nurse to call this in, and she finally called me back to say that facility doesn't even do that test (also not happy with facility folks for failing to mention that). AVOID THIS DOCTOR- he may be great, but his staff are definitely not working to help the patient.
