Patient Reviews
Jan 23, 2026
I had a reverse total shoulder arthroplasty performed by Dr. Wilsey on 10/29/25. I am now 12 weeks post-op and I must say that I could not be more pleased. The pain I was having previously is gone. I have gained back most of my range of motion. The latter, of course, is due to diligently following the exercises prescribed by the physical therapist Jameson. I still have quite a way to go in terms of regaining strength around that shoulder, but I have been assured that that should continue to slowly improve over the next three months. I. would recommend Dr. Willsey for being quite thorough in his pre-op evaluation and in his explanation about the nature of the procedure and what I could expect in terms of final outcome. Post-op I was prescribed an ice machine to use to keep down swelling. I was impressed that he showed up personally on the morning following surgery to make sure that I knew how to use it properly. Overall, I was quite happy with the experience.
