Extremely unreliable. For the third time since I’ve been seeing him, today, he once more called off so when I arrived there was a different doctor who could not prescribe me the medication I needed. Even if he had been here to prescribe a refill on my medication, he most likely would have written the instructions incorrectly as he has so many times before, leading to the pharmacy not being able to fill the prescription. When the pharmacy calls his office for a clarification of instructions they will send the same instructions over again. I’ve gone back and forth between the pharmacy and the office for over a week to get the desperately needed medication refilled on multiple occasions. Dr. Shapiro clearly has very little concern for his patients and I would not advise anyone to be treated by him. He’ll run out of the exam room before you’re ever allowed to express any of your concerns saying he’ll be right back but then a nurse comes to escort you out. He’s good at making you feel like an inconvenience for requesting his help. Bad at caring for patients. I’m done giving this guy chances. He’s made it very clear that he is either completely incompetent or just does not care.
