I really appreciate Dr. McGrane's candidness. Something I always appreciate in health professionals is their ability to speak to me as a peer rather than an authority figure. My big issue with her is that she commented on my body multiple times. She once pointed out my lower stomach stretch marks and told me I was young enough to get rid of them if a lost weight. I never really cared about them in the first place. She also weirdly told me about how her sons have them and they don't look good. She also pressured me into getting a second IUD when I told her I wanted to get my first one removed without a replacement.
