These days, doctors do the bare minimum, have little to no understanding of your background and just aim to leave the office early. From the inside, I’m broken. No testing for infertility offered, though a wait time for a 5 month away appt seemed normal..to her..We don’t have that kind of time. I read somewhere that she was “The Best”. I read wrong. She isn’t any better than any other doctor and not one specific aspect of meeting with her disproves that. All I wanted was someone to guide me. I didn’t have siblings. No baby’s after I was born. I knew little of ovulation, little of hormones and little of Ovarian reserve. I was refereed by Dr. Maureen Reis. Another 5-7 months of waiting for my eggs to decline. Though, I never looked at it like that, rather I was saddened that she spoke so fondly of her 3 year old daughter and her birthday coming up, as I longed for a baby myself. Doctors are lazier than they have ever been. Unwilling to put in the work and help guide you in the direction.
