Horrible workmen’s comp doctor. Doesn’t care that you are not even 50% recovered from your work injury. Just another failure of our medical system.

I supported my partner's visit today because he had an uneasy feeling about this Dr. Friend. I felt that she did not listen and was dismissive. He had a nerve study complete which resulted in the doctor stating that more than carpal tunnel syndrome was going on with his wrist and hand. She informed that his functioning is moderate in all 5 domains of life (communication, getting around, taking care of himself, participation at home, and participation in society), along with having pain at an 8 which is extremely high. An MRI was requested, and she said it would not show anything which is not true. She was unconcerned and ready to leave the room. She exhibited behaviors of bias and unprofessionalism. We will be asking for a physician who is in tune with their patients, listens, discusses, does not have biases, cares, and does not cause anxiety. I would never refer anyone to her. Very disappointing.
