Came to Dr Gary as a new patient/subscriber to Kaiser Permanente in 2015. At that time I was already on a cocktail of various antidepressants, mood stabilizers and anti-schizophrenic compounds. I Saw her for 8 years. During that time, I lost a lot of weight, gained a lot of weight. 100 pounds. I exercised, mostly walking and had a hip replacement. The schizophrenic med changed dosages several times, according to after visit reports. I was engaging in risky behaviors, which was my long-time pattern (now I realize). Due to the pandemic were not able to meet, face to face, although we had a video chatI Lost my life savings ($500k) in what I now recognize was a multi-year long manic episode in day trading, pissed it all away. I was not, in my lay-opinion, properly evaluated or advised.The anti-schizophrenic made everything glossy as if nothing mattered. I should have been warned this was a possibility and yet I was on it for a decade. Family not advised; nothing. I was on my own.
