I had a frustrating experience at Henderson & Walton Women’s Center after being referred here following my previous OBGYN’s retirement. Despite sharing my history of an ectopic pregnancy and infertility, the appointment was disorganized and unprofessional. I arrived early, waited in a crowded room, and when I was finally seen, I was told it was too early for my insurance to cover the Pap smear, despite being scheduled for it. I had positive pregnancy tests, but the doctor told me my test was negative—yet I had another positive test later and confirmed it with an ultrasound. The doctor promised to order blood work and call me the next day, but no call came. After checking Labcorp, I saw no blood work had been ordered. There was no ultrasound, no follow-up, and I was treated with indifference. I felt dismissed and have no confidence in their care. I won’t be returning and strongly recommend seeking care elsewhere.
