This Women is a disgrace to the field of medicine. When she could not figure out a diagnosis for a child's condition her statement was "it must be abuse". After a year of total hell stemming from her misdiagnosis it was determined not abuse. But during this year CPS took the children from parents while "they investigated". One women's opinion should never pull this much sway, especially when they are incompetent. It's a shame that Loma Linda, which is a great organization, has tied themselves to her. I am 1000% for advocacy of abused children, but realize the grief and pain you cause with a misguided opinion.

What’s a board certification and why is it important that my provider has one?

A board certification represents a provider’s dedication to ongoing training in one or more specialties, including the completion of intensive exams. While not all specialties have board certifications, if your provider does have one they’ve taken the extra step to master their specialty and to keep up with the latest advancements in their field.
