Our son was born march 2010 and by march 2012 he had had 13 ear infections. I could not seem to get him a referral to an ent. I was either told his infections werent close enough togerher or they didnt think he needed to be seen by an ent ear infections were common at this age. We called a local ent who called her office and told her to write the referral. Within two weeks of our first visit he is now 8 and was diagnosed with cholesteatoma due ro the cronic infecrions. He had surgery today.
