So I met with this doctor on January 31st about having issues eating, significant weight loss, chest pain when trying to eat, and feeling dizzy and lightheaded most likely due to lack of nutrition. He checked my vitals, prescribed some acid reflux medicine, and referred me to get an endoscopy. No bloodwork or anything drawn. He did say that worst case scenario, it is cancer. But that is highly unlikely because I am so young. This was Tuesday. That Friday, I went to the ER and they actually ran tests. My hemoglobin was at 6.2 and I needed a blood transfusion. They also ran a CT scan and found I most likely do have cancer. Was hospitalized for 11 days and have more upcoming tests. If this doctor had bothered to run any blood work and attempted to take me seriously, he would not be getting the review that he is getting. He did at least offer me a COVID test which I was very kind of him. I will never trust him with my health or anyone of my loved ones health with him.
