My family has had a dreadful experience with Dr. Austin, but mostly with his nursing staff. The staff there is rude, you always get a different nurse, they don't know your kid by name, and are always in a hurry and pretty much have the appearance that they would rather be anywhere than there helping you. Recently, I heard Dr. Austin call one of the patients parents "petty" because they made other patients in the waiting room aware that he was not even at work yet and running almost an hour late. If you want after hours help from the nurses, be prepared to be hung up on 3 times, and transferred 4 times, and then be prepared for them to insinuate that you're silly for being frustrated over it. Dr. Austin made my wife uncomfortable on our second visit with an implication he made about her home life. There are other patients who have left his care for the same reasons I have expressed about his staff. They are unwilling to take constructive feedback in any manner, so I'm writing here.
