I was referred to Dr Burdi after what I thought was a hip problem, turned out to be a spine issue. Dr Burdi is highly educated, well trained, very experienced, conservative and methodical in his approach and works with only the facts; no guessing. He looks at the pictures, does the physical exam and then explains to you what you have. In my case, it is physical therapy and he performed 3 spinal injections which as of this writing, eliminated the pain down my leg and in my hip. I was awake while he did the injections and I was impressed with how meticulous his work is and how he was able to negotiate around the bone spurs in my spine.I find Dr Burdi entertaining as well as competent, however his personality is not for everyone. He doesn’t “sugar-coat” things and he has a very high opinion of himself, which I find very entertaining. His front desk staff and nurses are courteous and competent.
