I have been seeing this doctor for about a year now and previously didn’t see many issues with his care. In the last six months, however he has completely dropped the ball with my prescription which has caused me immense amounts of stress and resulted and me going three days without a prescription that they don’t recommend missing any doses of. Basically, when the doctor changed my prescription, the insurance wouldn’t cover it and required him to call and approve the new capsule. This happened on a Tuesday and it was never taken care of despite me calling to ensure it would be on Friday before his office closed. Here it is Monday and I still am waiting for him to send the prescription to my pharmacy and or call my insurance to approve the previously sent prescription. He has been extremely unhelpful, and his staff is very kind. They are, additionally, extremely unhelpful if this wasn’t an issue of mental health, it wouldn’t be such a crisis. However, I am unable to go to work or function without my medication so to be treated like this is a small issue really is disappointing and shows that this doctor and staff does not care about the clients that they claim to serve. Just to make everything that much better, I asked if he would be able to to write a note explaining why I am late to work today a.k.a. I’m waiting for my prescription and he refused to do so.
