I had my first encounter with Dr. Schwarz. I found him to be personable, knowledgeable and answered all my questions. I would recommend him to anyone looking for a cardiologist.

Dr Schwarz is, in my opinion, one of the best doctors in the current medical system. I have been a patient of his for over 15 years, and before that he cared for my father and also my daughters. He is a cardiologist by trade, however his goal for you is to keep you OUT of the hospital and get your body's own defenses to operate as they are supposed to. Of course, this is a process, but he will run tests that many doctors do not think to run . He will remind you how things are connected and how quickly little things can become out of control if you don't stay the course. He will prescribe medications when needed, but will not leave you on them indefinitely. If the medication has done it's job, then he takes you off and let's your body resume its duties. He was my primary doctor for years, until insurance companies changed their rules and no longer covered him as such. I do not have heart issues or BP problems (I am 60 years young) as I have been under his care for years. In the eyes of the insurance company, I have no need for a cardiologist, but he is the one keeping me healthy! That having been said, I pay out of pocket to see him 2-3 times a year, and he is worth every penny! I have hospital insurance, which allows me to see any doctor in our hospital with zero co pay. I will not consider it, as Dr Schwarz is the only one I will see, and the only one I trust to care for the people I love. He is truly what a doctor should be. He is not afraid to call you out when you are slacking off (and Lord knows we have had our share of debates) but he also walks the walk and practices exactly what he preaches to you. If you want to give your body what it needs to ward off the downside of aging, book an appointment! I am so glad I found him and I never dread my upcoming appointments. He does not rush you, is a great listener, and thinks outside the box. He will answer questions through the portal or will call you back, personally, if the need arises. There are not many doctors like him, left in the medical system, unfortunately. I am grateful to him for putting up with me all of these years, not to mention, restoring my daughters back to good health. I am sure we will all live to be 100--- if he doesn't retire. Thank you, Dr Schwarz, we truly appreciate you!
