I requested a MyChart referral for an immediate need to avoid the $50 roundtrip cabfare to Dr Bailey's office, a concern as I am unemployed. The in-person appointment was required and Dr Bailey provided a referral and a perscription. I expressed concern to Dr Bailey's staff that the specialist's online profile did not include experience in the areas needed. Staff responded that specialist was competent and able to help. I saw the specialist who confirmed she was unable to help as she did not specialize in the two areas I raised concern over. I then went to the the pharmacy after receiving confirmation from Dr Bailey's staff that the perscription had been called in. There was no perscription and pharmacy stated they had not received a request. Round trip cab fare to the specialist and pharmacy exceeded $40. This was a $100 dollar expense, a huge cash outlay for me, and resulted in no medical help or medication. There has been no response from Dr Bailey's office.
