I do not leave reviews but need to for the care I received by Dr. Nguyen and Dr.Ahn. God makes some people with extra care and I am so blessed that in my darkest days Dr.Nguyen has been by my side. I was under the care of another hospital. At a 36 week ultrasound a large tumor was found on my daughter. Scripps was unable to provide the care necessary for our daughter’s birth. We were referred the next morning to the wonderful doctors at specialty obstetrics of San Diego. 8am next morning we were at Sharp in Dr.Ahns care. She moved mountains to get a team together for us. We were devastated but could not have had a better team in our worst moments. Dr.Nguyen delived our daughter and was so compassionate and thorough. She has impeccable communication skills. Our daughter passed from an extremely rare cancer and Dr.Nguyen took the time to look into case studies, gene mutations and more so she was able to provide us the best knowledge possible on our call to discuss the autopsy findings
