Had an awful experience in which I felt my concerns weren’t heard, I was advised to try treating my occasional sleep issues with CBT (I’m a regular in counseling but still require medication for my PTSD-related sleep issues on occasion), and was told she’d follow up about my bloodwork but then never heard from her again. I expressed concerns about my hormones and she just told me there was no point testing them because they vary and the tests aren’t accurate. I was hopeful with a younger provider that she would’ve been open to treating me like a collaborative partner in my healthcare but instead I was condescended to and never heard from her again.
