Traumatizing Experience with Dr. Min Cha — Please Read Before You Go I had one of the worst medical experiences of my life with Dr. Min Cha at South Brunswick Urgent Care, and I feel obligated to warn others. I came in for a follow-up involving a healing wound. Dr. Cha entered the room, barely spoke to me, and without a single word of warning, ripped off my bandage in one abrupt, painful motion. What followed was even worse—he took a pair of scissors and shoved them directly into the wound with no explanation, no heads-up, and no concern for the pain he was causing. I screamed. Loudly. I’ve never experienced that kind of pain during a medical visit before. Dr. Cha did not apologize. He showed zero empathy, zero bedside manner, and zero professionalism. Instead, he defensively tried to blame the situation on the heat in the room. That’s not a valid excuse. I was the one in pain—not him. And being uncomfortable is not a reason to completely disregard basic patient care or to act like I was an inconvenience. This was not just bad care. It was reckless, inhumane, and completely unacceptable. I left that office feeling violated, disrespected, and worse than when I came in. No one should be treated like that by a medical professional. If you care about your health, your dignity, and your right to be treated like a human being, please avoid Dr. Min Cha. He should not be practicing medicine—at least not in any setting that involves direct patient care.

A board certification represents a provider’s dedication to ongoing training in one or more specialties, including the completion of intensive exams.
