Went for first dental check up ever in my child’s life and was expecting a good experience. Instead, the doctor didn’t even inspect my child’s teeth, the hygienist cleaned my child’s teeth and then ordered x-rays without the doctor checking my child’s teeth and then didn’t really consult with us the parents fully about necessity of x-rays. The whole visit felt rushed and like they were trying to get unnecessary xrays for bigger payment. I don’t understand how I made an appointment for full check up and dentist never even glance at my child’s teeth. Why would xrays be done without the physical direct inspection of my child’s teeth by dentist? she just step in to introduce herself and that was it. Outrageous and unprofessional.
