My experience was very disappointing. The doctor came across as cold, rushed, and pushy, and I left feeling overwhelmed and uninformed about my diagnosis and treatment plan.The most disturbing part came afterward when I read my appointment notes. They stated that I 'handled the procedure well.' In reality, the IUD insertion was one of the most painful and traumatic medical experiences I've ever had. I was crying throughout the procedure. Reading that note made me feel unseen, unheard, and as though my experience didn't matter. Compassion, communication, and accurate documentation are essential, and unfortunately, I did not experience those during my visit.
