Patient Reviews
Jun 29, 2026
Dr Rahwan is the LAST person I would recommend for Alzheimer’s patients and their loved ones. After ~18 months in his care, the patient’s charts were outdated and did not reflect her diagnosis until the family brought it to Dr Rahwan’s office’s attention. He talked us out of medical testing to qualify for infusions, stating that insurance would not cover it. Yet, it was covered when we fired him as our provider and sought treatment at UC Gardner Neuroscience. Dr Rahwan prefers the “see you in 6 months and tell me how much more she has declined” method of rare, rather than proactive, empowering or supportive care. After switching to UC, the patient was immediately screened for eligibility for infusions but she was too far progressed for them to have any effect. It’s impossible to put in words how devastating and infuriating his wasting of this precious window of time was.
