Patient Reviews
Apr 17, 2026
I had unexplained bleeding and sharp pain in my third trimester. I went in the second time in about a week to get checked because I knew something was wrong. The pain was discovered on ultrasound to be in the exact location of my placenta. We waited quite a while on no food orders for Dr. A to come assess. She was in and out in under 5 minutes stating baby wasn’t in distress and my contractions weren’t progressing and made me feel like I was trying to push for an early c-section because I was just over pregnancy (at 36 weeks). I asked for her to not send me home unless she was certain I was not having an abruption or infection of the placenta and she sent me home with “no indications that’s the case”. 3 days later, I was admitted for an emergency c-section due to baby’s distress and had a massive post partum hemorrhage (9 liters) due to placental infection. I’m incredibly lucky that my baby and I lived for me to create this review.
