I was a patient at KP in GA for 15 years. Once they got Opthomology services I went Dr. Bhardwaj and a couple others at KP. Not only did I get RX prescriptions that were not correct a couple times but worse I was told my cataracts were not bad enough to get surgery by Dr. B and another doctor there. My cataracts got progressively so bad, I could no longer drive. My distance and mid-vision was horrible. Terrible halos and double vision. I left KP for Aetna. Went back to a great specialist Opthomologist I had at Eye Consultant of Atlanta. I had surgery done 6 mos. into Covid quarantine. My doc was shocked I was denied surgery as my eyes were so bad. We suspect because I also have other eye issues that made my case complex, that likely scared them off from doing surgery. I’m happy to say I had extremely successful surgeries with a top notch surgeon that has Lots of experience with complicated cases. I’m so happy to now have Aetna. It literally saved my sight. I’m in my 50’s.
