My experience with Dr. Ringel and her staff was a very negative one. I have Interstitial Cystiti and anyone who has that knows how horrible it is. I’ve had it for 34 years and the only thing that helps me is getting installations every 6 months. I came here and Dr. Ringel tortured me. She also did a cystoscopy WITHOUT ANESTHIA which was awful. 1) I didn’t need one since I’ve had many over the years and 2) never had one without anesthesia. She couldn’t even find my bladder and told me I had white spots and needed to get further tests but then she realized she was in my vaginal area. As someone who beat ovarian cancer, that was just cruel and unnecessary treatment. My insurance has always covered this procedure in full as long as it’s pre approved. I told her office this at least 3 times. I requested that they get this approved before I went in. They did. In writing. Then I got a bill for 1680 AFTER my insurance paid then thousands for being in her office for an hour. What greed.
