On my first visit, which was a second opinion about IBS and possible gastritis, I was stunned when Dr. Reddy said diet doesn’t matter. Literature and any IBS patient knows this matters. After he recommended a scope, I had it done at another facility because Clarkston was too far. At the next appt he started with “I don’t know why you’re here “. I am guessing he was either mad I went elsewhere or thought I transferred my care. He didn’t explain himself and I felt he was rude. Then when I mentioned another problem he told me a procedure he could do to fix it and when I asked about diagnostics he said he could do a simple exam. I asked for it to be done and he said no. With no explanation. I should have asked why, but by that point I was furious and dumbfounded. I wrote him a personal letter of complaint over a month ago, which will likely never get a reply. Time for a new gastroenterologist.
