My husband had AVM surgery done by Dr. Haynes in early 2016. He is lucky to be here. Dr. Haynes told us all the things that can happen and the stroke was always a possibility. Unfortunately my husband suffered a severe stroke on the table. Recovery and therapy was long. He then had brain bleeds on both sides a few months later. This was things that could not have been prevented and he is at least pretty functional at this point. It took quite a bit of therapy to get him using his hands and walking, eating, talking etc. Therapy is key. He is not 100% and never will be but he can do things that we thought he may never do again. Brain surgery is very dangerous and Dr. Haynes is one of the best. He was informative, caring, and saved my husband's life. We are forever grateful to him.
