Dr. Rickert was the Anesthesiology during a procedure I had at Emerson Hospital. I had several complaints after a surgery I received there due to the way my body responded. I was incredibly nervous about being put under. As soon as Dr. Rickert came into the room to introduce himself and go over his role and that part of the procedure I felt so much better. His infectious smile from the beginning to his very calming voice while taking the time to sit and talk to me knowing the fear I had as well as personal issues was incredible. He has an amazing level of understanding and compassion that unfortunately you just don't see in many Physicians. I felt well taken care of and most of all safe. I appreciate the time, communication and mostly his level of compassion with me as he made a very scary situation 100% better for me. I highly recommend Dr. Rickert and wish he could always be the Anesthesiologists in any possible surgery or procedures I have scheduled in the future at Emerson.
