Do not use this dermatologist. Evasive, dismissive, rude, and did not even know the law when we tried to get a cost estimate prior to an appointment. Was told they cannot give us a cost estimate for any lab work that might need to be performed in the event they find something during the check-up, even though the results come back from the lab to the DOCTOR and then the doctor calls us with the results (preventing us from asking the lab directly).So I quoted THE LAW to them that nowadays patients CAN and are allowed to get a cost estimate upfront before proceeding, and especially in this case where they use the lab KorPath and the reading of any results is based on the code that THEY send the lab, where they are the middle man. Dr. Nick got on the phone and was EXTREMELY rude as if we are not allowed to ask these questions. There was not a single thing that I asked that was not within my rights. Very unprofessional.
