Had a visit with Dr. Scripsema today and took my husband with me so he could learn about my eye condition and ask questions. When Dr. S entered the room, she barely acknowledged my husband. She became quite defensive when he did ask a question. He had several questions for her and he was insulted by her rudeness. He wants to file a formal complaint against her and hopes she learns how to treat people, her patients. He feels if she cannot handle answering questions and helping people through their illnesses, then she should find a new profession. She could take lessons from Dr.Jonathan Kruger at Kaiser in Springfield, VA

A nightmare experience. She knowing tried to give me an eye injection with silicon that I was not supposed to have, did not tell me she changed medications, lied about the proper medication not being available for an unspecified time due to manufacturing issues and that it was loaded with bubbles. Lies. She proceeded to refuse answering my question again, angrily tossed the injection in the trash and stormed out (after being worse than rude really). I had to ask 4 times to get an answer on the injection she was holding up to my eyeball, before she told me "it wasn't what I wanted", still refusing to state what medication was in the injection. I'm just fortunate I went with my guy reaction and told her to stop as she was getting ready to pop that needle in my eye. There are no excuses that could ever be acceptable for this.
