No complaints regarding the doctors and their treatments at this facility. But I was quite disappointed that they could not access my medical history, at least the past medications prescribed by their colleagues. Apparently the handwritten notes of the previous dermatologist, whom I had seen at this facility recently, were illegible. A young woman (student?) who was present was struggling to read the notes for my prior prescription and asked 'Does it begin with the letter Z?' (The medication was actually Tacrolimus, as I found out when I returned home) Also, they have not converted to digital records! It seems to me that the archiving of, and collective access to, the patient's past medical history at the current clinic should be a gimme, and I would think it would be required for certification. In my prior work at a cancer center, even before the digital era, there was a transcriptionist whose job it was to convert the oncologist's dictation into a written document.
