Dr. Nour Abuhadra, MD

Dr. Abuhadra welcomed me with a hug and a complete mastery of my history and current prognosis. She had read and internalized my reports, scans, and concerns before the appointment! She spent an hour with me and explained everything clearly and precisely. She answered every question and made me feel so calm, confident, and cared for. She has complete mastery of historic, recent, and ongoing research and is able to unpack complicated concepts quickly, thoroughly, and compassionately. She is patient-centered and helps her patients understand their condition, the context, and the future questions and considerations for their care. I traveled 12 hours round trip to see her, but I would go to the moon and back for the clarity, expertise, and care she provided. Dr. Abuhadra is an extraordinary example of brilliance and humanity. I am so grateful I found her. I can’t recommend her enough to any patient navigating a rare breast disease.

A charming but ineffectual oncologist. Not one suggestion on how to tolerate the very painful aromatase inhibitor side effects - these meds are essential to preventing a recurrence of cancer. There are things that have helped some people, but she rationalizes her non efforts with labeiling ideas as "not guideline." I was ignored, "handled" but not a minute of talking about what I could take or do to alleviate side effects. I am waiting for a switch, but she has wasted 5 months of my pre-surgery life by gaslighting me. Her staff are very nice, but they are NOT doctors. Avoid is my advice.
