My mom used her as a surgeon, she had colon surgery. My mom went into the hospital an able body person, driving, helping me remodel my kitchen and completely independent. A week went by and mom was not doing well. She was bloated and disoriented, turns out there was a tear in her colon from the surgery, causing sepsis. Dr. Figert did emergency surgery to try and repair the damage from the first surgery that she performed. My mom died the next morning. I know that staff within the hospital should have also recognized the signs of sepsis but I highly encourage you to do your research before using this provider.
