Dr. Patrick Oley, MD

I've seen him a few times over the past few years. He did inquire and reccomend going a more holistic route, such as PT, chiro, red light therapy, etc before meds. I expressed that I've already gone down that route with 3 rounds of PT for my issue and am consistently seeing a chiropractor and still can't move due to back constantly being spasmy. He explained what options were available to me such as a back ablation (a 2 part series where they neutralize the nerves in your back via injection, part 1 is just a test procedure with numbing stuff to make sure it will work). This would only need to be redone every 4-6months, when the nerves grow back. We tried part 1 to that but didn't find the right nerves and so we went the route of muscle relaxors and I finally have quality of life again. He definetly seems up to date on treatment options and I feel listens to my concerns. I feel we come to the decisions of my treatment together and respected as a person.
