Mille Lacs health system is great except for Dr.Hook.. she is prideful, cocky and reckless.. she prejudged and holds bias where she shouldn’t. Avoid having her as your doctor at all costs.. nearly cost the life of a family member. Best part is we got all of her notes from the receptionist and she put in some very judgmental negative things. We are shocked at the assumptions and bias she used without asking to clarify anything. She just assumed she knew. The nurses are scared of her and if she is your doctor you should be afraid as well. She was not smart enough to diagnose the illness, and took a throw the spaghetti to the wall and sees what sticks approach. She would not listen to her patient.. knowingly prescribed a dangerous drug that she knew the patient had a bad reaction towards, and was afraid to talk to the patient in person and called the hospital room instead. She claimed she was too busy... I would gladly share our whole story with details to anyone who wants to hear it..
