Patient Reviews
Sep 24, 2024
Dr. Palmer is an inherently kind man. He listens to his patients, he talks to them as if they matter. He is responsive to concerns and never dismissive. He explains procedures and answers questions without making you feel stupid for asking. He is never arrogant or condescending. He takes pain levels seriously and weighs the risks carefully. Talking to Dr. Palmer is comfortable and 'not weird'. The thing I keep reflecting on is his bedside manner when I would have rather been dead. Were it not for him insisting on surgery, I'm certain my colon would have ruptured and I would have become septic. The ER wasted a month pumping me full of antibiotics and sending me home with opioids (while treating me like a 'pill-seeker'). In and out, in and out of the ER I went....Dr. Palmer's intervention saved my life and gave me hope when all was lost. Doesn't get much better than that. He is a skilled surgeon and took good care of me throughout my 6 month ordeal. His office staff is awesome!
