I just wanted to give a recommendation for Dr. Paul Tyan in Northern VA. I had my 2nd laparoscopic surgery just about two weeks ago with him and I cannot say enough about how phenomenal of a job he did. My first surgery was done by a Nook surgeon in Philadelphia, but ultimately my endometriosis symptoms came back after 5 years. I found Dr. Paul Tyan after moving to Alexandria, VA and after my first appointment with him I knew I was in good hands. I was nervous for my surgery, but he consistently reassured me that he would take the best care of me. After my surgery, he told me that my endometriosis had regrown and several spots were missed during my first surgery. His surgery style is aggressive, with the goal of never having to have surgery again. So far my recovery has been flawless, and I have felt better every single day. But at my two week post operative appointment, I really knew I made the right choice. He had such incredible empathy for me, answered all of my questions, did not rush me, and is even going to do a follow up with me in another 4 weeks to make sure I am OK. If you are in the northern VA / DC area I cannot recommend him enough. He is beyond educated, personable, kind, and humble. The office staff at his practice is also incredibly sweet and supportive. I hope this reaches the right person!! He really is incredible.??

Dr. Paul Tyan is one of the best and most knowledgeable doctors in Virginia. He is very skilled, intelligent, respectful, and honest. Not only that he is very caring and friendly which you don't see much of in others in the field. Dr. Tyan took the time to listen to all of my concerns and did everything to make me feel comfortable prior to surgery. He genuinely cares about his patients. Having an extremely complicated surgery that was turned down by several other surgeons, he did not turn his back as it was life-threatening. He made me feel very safe, with a very smooth surgery with outstanding results. The aftercare I received from his nurses and Dr. Tyan was amazing! They treated me like family. I am very happy that my friend recommended me to him and I thank them all for saving my life. Dr. Paul Tyan is the best surgeon and best doctor, and you cannot ever go wrong choosing him. A lifesaver. I will always recommend and go to Dr. Paul Tyan, he is truly the best doctor I have ever had. I highly recommend Dr. Paul Tyan, more than 100%. Thank you so much, Dr. Paul Tyan! Waziri
