I had a deeply disappointing experience with Dr. Paula Henderson. I requested her for a general check-up after not visiting the office for some time. Despite explaining I was there for a routine visit, the focus shifted to past chest pain, which was no longer an issue. I was asked to undergo an EKG, but it was ineffective due to my piercings. Dr. Henderson entered the room without knocking, while I was undressed, and dismissed my concerns with rude comments about the EKG being a “waste of time.” She continued to question me in a condescending tone, rolling her eyes and disregarding my explanations. When I questioned her frustration, she told me to leave, complaining about my visit. I stood up for myself, saying if she didn’t want to be a doctor, she didn’t have to be one. She ended the consultation, and I left. Healthcare should be patient-centered, but I felt disrespected and dismissed by Dr. Henderson’s unprofessional conduct.
