My son had been vomiting for 7 days and when I called with a concern of pyloric stenosis, she was very quick to dismiss it. She literally ruled out pyloric stenosis without doing an ultrasound. Her words verbatim were “That’s not a pyloric stenosis baby”, when in fact, 2 days later he got an ultrasound ordered by a different doctor and he DID IN FACT have pyloric stenosis and had surgery the night of his ultrasound! My son met many classic signs of pyloric stenosis, but because he didn’t meet ALL of the signs, she was very quick to dismiss it.
